Speech and Language Evaluations
Speech and language assessments look at the whole child. An individualized evaluation determines the presence of a communication disorder and if intervention is warranted. Testing can be performed in person or via telemedicine by a certified speech-language pathologist. Once you have received the written report, the SLP will take time to meet with you to review the finding and determine appropriate therapy objectives before enrolling in therapy services.
If your child has been evaluated by another certified speech-language pathologist within the last year, you are able to enroll in therapy services immediately.
